6 December it is!

Hey, how real are you? Have you ever imagined what would it be like if we all show the real version of ourselves on social media? Sounds terrific! ‘Be yourself’ was my favorite quote since I was 12 years old. Today I turned 18, and it's still my favorite quote but with a different perspective. We want to put our best foot forward, you are living a full vibrant life, and you are a good person. We create outrageous photos to look authentic, Instead of posting photos depicting our perfect lives. And then the insecurities sneak in And you begin with a little exaggeration. However, you are just the shinier version but you like it. So you tweak it just a little more, Until the real you, Which was probably pretty great, to begin with, Is unrecognizable. It makes us happy, representing the highlights of our life. And from my point of view, if something makes you happy, it's okay to do it until it hurts someone else. But here’s the thing, we are not just fooling ourselves, There’s someone else on the other side of that lie Falling in love with a version of you that doesn’t exist, And that’s not fair because the only way it ends for them is disappointment And the only way it is for you is heartbreak. Being real can get you limited people but you will feel happier with them. You won't have to face toxicity or hide your flaws. And when it comes to love, it doesn’t have to be perfect It just has to be honest. To find true love you have, to be honest about who you are!
