Psychology is an integral element of chess. One needs to be strong not only on board but in the psychological sense as well. It takes courage to face the board again after losing the previous round in a
very short period of time. Every chess player can recall moments where he/she could not recover from a terrible loss and kept losing points in other rounds as well. It is very important to get over what
happened in the last round and go for the next round with a fresh state of mind in full confidence. Therefore, during the tournament, you should never blame yourself for blunders. What went wrong and
how should be analyzed afterward, not between two rounds in a day. Ultimately, the main thing is having CONFIDENCE in yourself more than anything else.
