Keep your friends close, your enemies closer

We must have come across a very popular quote which says that “A wise enemy is better than a foolish friend”. Well, before I talk about it, have you ever experienced the same? If yes, then you must agree with it. Such a relationship drives you to become a better version of yourself which helps you grow. It is also true that we should not compete with other people and you feel that “Isn’t it controversial?”. We should love everyone and that is the correct philosophy but let us accept that as a part of human nature, such thoughts are bound to cross our minds. A wise enemy will always expose you to reality and make you face your fears, directly or indirectly. So, it’s not that you make other wise people your enemies, but all you need to do is, choose your company wisely. This also brings us to a conclusion that you can and must always learn from your opponents too. Learning from your enemies takes courage. Winston Churchill has said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”

Take every moment as an opportunity to prosper and you may be able to see instant results of such an approach.
