Silence is the absence of ambient audible sound, the emission of sounds of such low intensity that they do not draw attention to themselves. Silence is often referred to in terms of space: the immensity inside, the cave of the heart, the oasis of quiet, the inner sanctuary, the interior castle, the sacred center where God dwells. To be in silence is a spiritual sadhana(practice). For centuries, people are doing this spiritual practice. Through which they are getting a chance to go beyond the dimension of sound. To be still and conscious. To know yourself better and to explore new things it is great to follow this spiritual sadhana(practice). One has to sit in silence and close their eyes to avoid any distractions. This is similar to meditation. But in this process, you have to be more conscious. In this process, you think more and you visualize more. The difference between this process and meditation is that in meditation you leave your body and go beyond the material dimension and in this process, you connect with the body and learn the new dimensions of it. You can control your mind the way that even in a noisy place you can create your own silence. This is the power of silence as a spiritual practice.
